A vertical parabola has its features: Axis of symmetry, vertex, and x-intercepts, or zeros. Starting by finding the axis of symmetry, you may then use that value for x, to find the y-coordinate for the vertex. With the axis of symmetry and the vertex, then you may complete the square to find the x-intercepts.
