Congruence in Triangles.

One of the most difficult challenges for students is to verify that SSS, SAS, ASA, and AAS really work to prove that two triangles are congruent. These applets here will allow you to prove it.

Angle-Angle-Side: AAS

This interactive applet allows to drag point "B" to verify that two triangles remain congruent

when you have two pairs of corresponding angles, and a pair of non-included sides congruent.

Angle-Side-Angle: ASA

You may drag point "B" to verify that when two pairs of corresponding angles in a triangle, and the one pair

of included sides are congruent the triangles are congruent.

Side-Angle-Side: SAS

Congruency that may verified by moving point "B". Observe that the congruence for the

two triangles remain true when you have two pairs of corresponding sides, and the included angle congruent.

Side-Side-Side: SSS

This is the congruence where you have all three corresponding sides in two triangles congruent.

Play with point "B" to verify it.
